This site runs a small, self-hosted analytics setup to understand how many people visit and where they come from. It is operated privately and is not shared with third-party advertising or tracking networks.

What is collected

When you request a page, the web server records standard access-log information, and the analytics pipeline derives aggregate counts from it:

• IP address (in server logs; used to count unique visitors and to derive an approximate country)
• Browser user-agent string (in server logs; used to derive browser and operating-system categories)
• The page path you requested, and the date and time of the request
• HTTP response status and size
• The referring page, when your browser provides it
• Campaign parameters (UTM tags) when present in the link you followed

From these, the dashboard stores only aggregated figures — such as daily hits and visitors, top pages, referrers, campaign sources, browser/OS categories, country, and hits-by-hour. The stored analytics database does not retain raw IP addresses or raw user-agent strings.

What is not collected

• No cookies are set
• No session identifiers
• No persistent visitor IDs or cross-site tracking

Retention

Raw server logs are rotated and deleted on the server's normal log-rotation schedule. The analytics database holds aggregate counts only.

Concept and interest pages

Some linked concept pages include a small measurement request (a "beacon") that reports the page viewed, the referring source, and any campaign parameters. It sets no cookies and requires JavaScript; with JavaScript disabled, these pages are simply not counted.
